SERVICE

At Macquarie University, I serve on a number of Faculty of Arts committees implementing the University’s research and innovation strategies alongside stakeholders at the University and beyond. These Faculty commitments include serving as the Department’s Interim Director of Research and Innovation; representative to the Faculty’s Research Report and ad hoc grant committees, and as reviewer for draft grant applications, amongst other roles. My move to Australia coincided with greater service to the discipline, including as an associate editor for H-Diplo ISSF and continuing service on the editorial boards of Australian Journal of International Affairs and Contemporary Security Policy. For 2023 - 2025, I am treasurer for the ISA International Organization Section.

At the University of Hong Kong, I served as a member for the Common Core Curriculum Committee for the Global Issues Area of Inquiry from 2016-2021. In 2015, I served as a committee member meeting with the Quality Assurance Council Teaching and Learning Audit Committee. I was active in grassroots discussions about teaching and in foreign policy-oriented discussions on campus. I served as interim Chief Examiner for the Department of Politics and Public Administration's Undergraduate Courses, and as a member of the Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (BASc) degree academic committee along with service on numerous faculty search committees.

I have been a Board of Advisors member for the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University since 2015. In this capacity, I was co-lead for projects like the PhD Program Review and Online Learning. I am also a voting member for the annual Fletcher Women's Leadership Award.

I was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations, and chair its Risk Committee. I am a participant in Track 2 and Track 1.5 dialogues on issues relating to PRC foreign policy and global governance.
